Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name could be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 receiving rave reviews from both music bloggers as well as the media. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering an old grand piano hidden in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not for an income or as a pastime, but as an opportunity to improve. She began to write with her own music. Her sources include noted authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her affinity with Bjork's style. She decided to start performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mother said they can help other people, not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help those around them see their own importance and how they impact the world. As a young girl She began playing the piano, and when she was nine, started writing songs. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. She says she just likes writing songs. For her music, it is the most effective way to express anything.
